The 20th annual Carmel Clay Republican Chili Supper will be held Thursday, March 10 at the Carmel American Legion Post, 852 W. Main St. GOP candidates in the upcoming May primary election will be featured guests.
“The public is welcome to this annual event, held this year in the smoke-free Legion building,” said organization president Paul Ayers.
Candidates will be introduced and will serve the chili.
Events begin at 6 p.m. Candidates for Congress, state legislature, county and Clay Township offices will be present. A special award for outstanding community service will be presented and election of officers for the coming year will be held.
Besides chili, there will be a dessert and salad with admission of $5 for club members and non-members who join on or before March 10.
