The Carmel boys basketball team took control in the middle quarters of its game at Anderson Thursday, and that led to a 66-41 victory.
The Greyhounds were ahead 16-12 after the first quarter, but allowed the Indians only nine points in the second and third periods. Carmel led 31-16 at halftime and 50-21 after three.
Peter Suder reached double-double status, scoring 22 points and collecting 10 rebounds, in addition to making two 3-pointers. Charlie Williams had 12 points and eight rebounds, while Bryce Beery pulled six rebounds. Conner Gioia handed out eight assists to go along with his nine points.
Carmel is 5-3 and is off until next Friday, Jan. 10 when it hosts Center Grove in a Metropolitan Conference game.
