Carmel boys golf wins Hall of Fame Tournament

The Carmel boys golf team finished first and second at the Hall of Fame Tournament, which took place Saturday at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
Carmel Gold took first with a team score of 310, followed by Carmel Blue with a score of 315. Other scores were Franklin Community 323, Peru 335, Logansport 342, Culver Academies Maroon 342, Warsaw 349, Avon 353, Twin Lakes 386, Culver Academies White 396, Mooresville 403, Rochester 436.
The Greyhounds had seven golfers finish in the top 10. Nick Dentino led the way, placing second overall with a 74. Akio Fujita carded a 36 for third place. Clay Stirsman and Curtis Robertson were part of a tie for fourth place with 78s, and Cole Harris, Luke Prall and J.D. Dulin all tied for seventh with 79s.
Other Carmel scores were Jack Crawford 82, Nick Katsis 86 and Shoji Fujita 88.
