If you have been to the Carmel Arts & Design District recently, you may have noticed brightly painted rain barrels in front of many of the stores. WISH-TV’s Life.Style.Live! recently took a stroll along Main Street with Claire Lane of Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District and rain barrel artist Carolyn Martens.

Art Competition Results
Congratulations to the winners of the 2022 Rain on Main Barrel Art Competition:
- Kim Dax (Barrel #15 – Vibration of Life) is the winner of this year’s art competition. ($200)
- Second place ($100) goes to Carolyn Martens (Barrel #3 – Sunflowers in the Starry Garden)
- Third place ($50) is Guerin High School (Barrel #1 – Water Under the Bridge)
The barrels are judged by a representative from the Carmel Arts Council, a Rain on Main sponsor and a Carmel Arts & Design merchant.
Rain on Main concluded at the Carmel Farmers Market on Saturday.
