Carl Osborn Conover, 94, Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home. He was born on October 20, 1925, one of nine children, to Lloyd and Marie (Osborn) Conover in Clermont County, Ohio.
Carl proudly served in the United States Marines in the Amphibious Recon Tinian Okinawa during WWII. Following the war Carl attended Ohio State University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree. He was employed by the Federal Milk Marketing Order in Seattle, Wash. Carl retired from the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., after 30 years of service. After retirement Carl and Joann moved to Indiana where he worked another 30 years as a consultant for the milk industry while also enjoying his farm on the Lost River Valley of southern Indiana.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joann Conover; daughters, Pam (Dean) Cantu and Martessa (Danny Young) Conover; seven granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and siblings, Hazel Lewis, Polly Rose, Lloyd Conover, Don Conover, Anne Osborne, Margaret Acuff, and Virginia Rapp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Neil Conover.
