Career Fair exceeds expectations

Ivy Tech Community College located in Noblesville hosted a career fair on Tuesday.  The event co-sponsored by Hamilton County Youth Assistance, Good Samaritan Network and Build Your Future Indiana was open to public.  The event offered those looking for employment exposure to 55 employers with careers paying a minimum of $27,000 in addition to benefits were.

“If you are unemployed or underemployed the career fair was the place to be,” stated Jason Ells, Senior Vice President for Westfield based Custom Concrete and Sheridan Youth Assistance Board Member. “Our original expectation was 80-100 attendees.  By noon we had exceed 200.”
