The Sheridan boys basketball team rolled past North Montgomery 58-29 in a Tuesday away game.
The Blackhawks led 12-6 after the first quarter, then powered through the middle periods by outscoring the Chargers 34-8. Caleb Wright had an outstanding game, draining four 3-pointers on his way to 23 points. Wright also had eight rebounds.
Tyler Garner added 11 points, while Owen Bell pulled five rebounds. Trent DeCraene dished out five assists.
Sheridan is 6-5 and hosts Tri-Central Friday in a Hoosier Heartland Conference game.

Backed by an incredible shooting performance from Taden Metzger, Fishers cruised past Lafayette Jefferson 64-41 in a Tuesday away game.
Metzger threw in eight 3-pointers for 24 points. After making one triple each in the first and second periods, Metzger nailed three 3s in both the third and fourth quarters. His baskets helped the Tigers maintain a solid advantage over the Bronchos for the entire game.
Fishers’ defense also did its job, holding Lafayette Jeff to 13 points in the first half. The Tigers led 33-13 at halftime, then added 18 more points in the third quarter. Jalen Haralson had six in that period, he finished with 11 points.
The Tigers are 7-6 and play Friday at Pike.

Westfield used a big third quarter to win at Mount Vernon Tuesday, 67-58.
The Marauders led 15-10 after the first quarter and 31-26 at halftime. Trey Buchanan kept the Shamrocks in the game with 14 points in the first half. Westfield’s defense took over in the third period, holding Mount Vernon to nine points, while the Rocks poured in 20 points of their own. Buchanan helped out with eight points, including two 3s.
Westfield led 46-40 after three quarters, then added another 21 points in the fourth. Buchanan wound up with four 3s and 25 points, with Charles Farrell scoring 11 points and Alex Romack contributing 10 points.
The Shamrocks are 7-1 and host Yorktown Friday.

Noblesville was dealt a tough loss at Pike on Tuesday, 61-60.
The Millers led 17-13 after one quarter, with Luke Almodovar pouring in 13 points. The Red Devils came back to lead 31-27 at halftime, then extended their advantage to 48-42 after three periods. Noblesville made a comeback in the fourth by scoring 18 points, helped by Preston Roberts’ eight points, but the Millers fell just short.
Almodovar finished with 20 points, including four 3-pointers. Cooper Bean scored 15 and Roberts had 12.
Noblesville is 7-3 and hosts Muncie Central on Saturday.
