Bulldogs stun Millers with fourth-quarter run

Noblesville was stunned by a fourth-quarter burst from Brownsburg, as the Class 4A No. 9 Bulldogs ran away from the Millers 52-36 in their Hoosier Crossroads Conference opener Friday at The Mill.
Brownsburg led 13-7 after the first quarter, but Noblesville had cut that advantage to 24-22 by halftime. The Millers then took a 30-29 lead at the end of a defensive third period, but the Bulldogs took over in the final quarter, outscoring Noblesville 23-6.
Ashlynn Shade scored 16 points for the Millers, including three 3-pointers, and also led the Noblesville rebounds with six. Abby Haley collected four rebounds.
Noblesville is 3-3 overall and plays at 4A No. 2 Homestead tonight, with a 6:30 p.m. varsity tipoff.
