Bruce Eugene Deakyne of Cicero passed away at the age of 78 on March 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born October 19, 1944, in Indianapolis to the late James B. and Martha L. Deakyne.
Bruce served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He retired after 49 years from General Motors. He was a member of the American Legion in Cicero and the UAW. He loved his Corvettes and Colts football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha; and his son, Hank Deakyne.
He is survived by the love of his life for over 31 years Patia Waggoner and several cousins.
