Last Saturday, Carmel-based BraunAbility, the leading global provider of wheelchair accessible vehicles, donated a series of books celebrating disability trailblazers to several local preschools and schools in communities where employees live. The series highlights prominent individuals in the disability community, including BraunAbility founder Ralph Braun, and serves to teach children about acceptance, inclusion, and the many ways people with disabilities have contributed to our society. The books were hand-delivered by BraunAbility employees, many of whom had children or grandchildren attending the local school.
