University won its first match of the season on Wednesday, beating Lafayette Jefferson in a road contest 25-17, 25-12.
This was the second match of the year for the Trailblazers, who were edged out by Kokomo in their season opener on Tuesday in five sets, 24-26, 25-18, 15-25, 25-22, 16-14.
