Boys track and field: Noblesville hosts Kent Graham Relays

The Noblesville boys track and field team hosted the annual Kent Graham Relays Monday at Beaver Materials Field.
Carmel finished third at the relays with 86 points, while the Millers were fourth by scoring 76 points. Center Grove won the team championship with a score of 117 points.
The Greyhounds got three event wins. The 4×200 relay team of Colton Parker, Zachary Cox, James Philpott and Owen Schafer finished first in a time of 1:28.43, while Carmel’s sprint medley relay of Greg Gottlieb, Thomas Maurer, Anthony Iskander and Andrew Willman took that event in 1:35.05. Seth Hutchison and John Underhill teamed for a win in the pole vault relay with a combined leap of 26 feet; Hutchison was the top individual at 14 feet.
The Millers’ 4×1600 relay team of Asher Propst, Luke Shinneman, Joel Mumaw and Evan Campbell won that even in 18:11.01.
