The Huskies got victories from No. 3 Ben Wolfgang and both doubles teams: No. 1 Nic Rice and Josh Russell and No. 2 Liam Huss and Jake Martin.
“I am looking forward to seeing our young team grow as each day goes by,” said Heights coach Justin Davis. “None of our singles players have previous Varsity singles experience, but they are eager to learn and will become much stronger opponents as the year goes on. As for our doubles players, some have varsity experience, but not much; they will continue to grow and be a tough match-up as well. I am excited to see what this season has in store for us, it’s great to get our season kicked off with a win. Once the JV players compete against other teams, it’ll help shape the full potential of this season and the following seasons to come.”
