Boys soccer: Tigers beat Columbus East

The Fishers boys soccer team beat Columbus East 2-0 in a rainy Saturday game.
The Class 3A No. 12 Tigers got goals from Cam O’Connor and Yuto Nakamae, with Reese May and Elliott Mozingo each making an assist. Brendan Weiger had the shutout.
Fishers is now 8-1-1 and plays at 3A No. 18 Brownsburg on Tuesday.

Noblesville played two games in Fort Wayne on Saturday.
The Millers lost to Blackhawk Christian 1-0 in their first game, then rebounded to beat 3A No. 13 Homestead 3-1. Freshmen Palmer Ault and Spencer Holland led the way, with Ault scoring two goals, then providing the assist for Holland’s goal.
Noblesville is now 4-4-1 and will host 3A No. 1 Zionsville on Tuesday.
