Boys soccer: Millers win big at Northwestern

The Noblesville boys soccer team got a huge win on the road Saturday, beating Northwestern 10-0.
The Millers dominated from the start, scoring four goals in the first half and six more in the second half. Palmer Ault had three goals for Noblesville, with Sam Johnson, Drew Barnes and Spencer Holland all scoring two. Colin Todd had one goal.
Goalkeepers Adam Carter, Josh Lewis and Miles Atkins recorded the clean sheet, along with a solid defensive unit. Several Noblesville Junior Varsity Black players saw action as well, including freshmen Cole Bramblett, Brayden Doll and Kyle Goad.
The Millers play at Westfield on Tuesday.

Hamilton Southeastern held off Brebeuf Jesuit to win a 3-2 road game on Saturday.
JP Suarez got the Class 3A No. 4 Royals on the board in the first half. In the second half, Brock Hatfield scored to put HSE ahead 2-0. The Braves converted a penalty kick to make the score 2-1, but Chayton Davidson scored off a breakaway from Luke Dawdy for Southeastern’s third goal.
The Royals are 6-0-1 and play at 3A No. 18 Fishers Tuesday in the Mudsock game.

Carmel beat Fort Wayne Canterbury 3-1 in a Friday evening game.
The 3A No. 15 Greyhounds got goals from Caleb Hussain, Jackson Hoover and Graham Rieg. Drew Finkam made two assists and Monish Pandy had one.
“There were so many positives I heard about,” said Carmel coach Shane Schmidt. “I was told that we took another step forward and the team played well. We will continue to get better every day. I couldn’t be more proud.”
The ‘Hounds play at Lawrence North on Tuesday.
