Boys soccer: Huskies beat Lebanon, improve to 3-0

Hamilton Heights traveled to Lebanon on Tuesday and came home with a 4-1 win in a battle of Class 2A ranked teams.
The No. 13 Huskies scored first, when Issiac Hickok found Donovan Trew over the top for the goal two minutes into the game. With 24 minutes left in the first half, Josh Thorpe assisted Drew Tomaszewski for the second goal.
The No. 14 Tigers scored with five minutes left in the half on a free kick, making Heights’ halftime lead 2-1. In the second half, Tomaszewski scored the Huskies’ third goal off an Ethan Aspy assist, then Zach Clark scored off a Sam Blake hustle play.
Caleb Grabarz made three saves. Tomaszewski was Heights’ player of the game, helping the Huskies to a 3-0 record.
University, now the No. 1-ranked team in 1A, beat Bethesda Christian 4-2 on Tuesday.
Ethan Bandick scored two goals, while Coghlin Kumler and Michael Bounsall each scored one.
The Trailblazers played Indianapolis Lutheran to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Noblesville fell to Avon 3-1 in an away HCC game on Tuesday.
The Orioles scored all three of their goals in the first half. Jack Miller converted from the penalty spot with 19 seconds left to get Noblesville on the board.
The Millers will host Brebeuf Jesuit on Thursday.

Fishers, ranked No. 20 in 3A, fell to 3A No. 1 Zionsville 3-0 on Tuesday.
The Tigers play at 3A No. 19 Guerin Catholic on Thursday.
