The Westfield boys lacrosse team won an all-county game over Noblesville 13-10 Wednesday at the Shamrocks’ field.
Westfield led 5-3 after the first quarter, with Theo Dager scoring two goals. The ‘Rocks held a 9-7 halftime advantage, then jumped ahead 12-8 after three periods. Sam Meyers scored twice in the third.
Meyers also had two first-half goals, giving him a team-leading four goals for the game. Dager, Daniel Sherman and Jake Norris all totaled two goals, with Dager also dishing out three assists. Finn Smyth, Vince Kocsis and Keegan Krupp scored one goal each. Hunter Jones totaled 10 loose ball controls.
Zach McMichael scored four goals for the Millers, with Charlie Boe adding three. Hayden McCaslin had two goals and Logan White scored one. Charlie Zink, Max Sala and Monty Atkins all collected four ground balls.
Westfield is 8-2 and hosts Guerin Catholic Friday evening. Noblesville is 6-3 and plays Saturday at Homestead.
