The Westfield boys golf team won a nine-hole match Tuesday at the Trophy Club in Lebanon.
The Shamrocks scored 161 to beat Brownsburg and Zionsville. Westfield was led by seniors Andrew Lewis with a 38 and Stephen Hildebrand with a 39.
Westfield’s junior varsity team posted its best team score in the past two seasons to win a dual meet with Lawrence North on Tuesday.
The Shamrocks won 152-183. Freshmen Timmy Leonard and Ryan Wilkes both had 37’s to tie for medalist. Sophomore Spencer Howe chipped in with a 38 and sophomore Brent Hester added 40.
Hamilton Heights finished second in a three-team meet on Tuesday.
The Huskies scored 175, behind Lapel’s 163 and ahead of Elwood’s 206. Hawkins Hochstedler and John Thuer both shot 43s, followed by Hudson Hochstedler’s 44 and Price Knowles’ 45.
Carmel’s junior varsity won a three-team match with Zionsville and Noblesville Wednesday at the Golf Club of Indiana.
The Greyhounds scored 159 to the Eagles’ 169 and the Millers’ 174. Carmel’s Akio Fujita was the medalist with a 37. Other Greyhound scores: Luke Prall 40, Jack Crawford 41, Nick Katsis 41, Andrew Harvey 42 and Shoji Fujita 43.
