Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville to host 39th annual youth basketball league

The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville’s youth basketball league, for grades K-8, is right around the corner. Practices will begin the week of Dec. 3, with games beginning the week of Jan. 7. Registration is now open and will last until Nov. 14, with player evaluations being held at the Community Center on Nov. 16 for grades 3-8.
The league will consist of an eight-game regular season, plus playoffs, with the season cultivating at our annual Basketball Spectacular on March 16 at Noblesville High School. All championship games for each age group with play on this day, along with an awards ceremony including all age groups. Other important dates during the season include the League Appreciation day during a Miller’s varsity basketball game, as well as the annual Pancake Breakfast/Picture Day fundraiser in February. Each participant will receive a reversible jersey and a pair of shorts at the beginning of the season, sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings’ ALL-STARS initiative.
“Every year, I love seeing all the kids grow as players in hopes to make it to the championship game at our Basketball Spectacular,” said Tony Eslamirad, BGCN Sports Director.  “Getting the chance to play on the Miller’s main court in front of all their friends and family is definitely something that puts a huge smile on all the kid’s faces.”
The registration fee per individual is $60 plus a current Club membership (memberships are $55 per school year). All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville.
