The Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville invites the public to attend the fifth annual Noblesville Mini Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kiddie Race on Saturday, Sept. 22. This scenic event offers runners and walkers a tour of beautiful Noblesville and showcases the area’s most beloved attractions such as the Courthouse Square, Forest Park, Morse Beach and Potter’s Bridge.
In the past four years, the NMM has donated over $30,000 to support the mission and efforts of the Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville.
BGCN is once again sponsoring the Kiddie Run at this year’s race, which will take place at 9:30 a.m. The Kiddie Run is open to kids ages 9 and younger and will begin at the main start line in the Ivy Tech parking lot. The participants will start with their very own NMM football in hand to run a short course and end at the main finish line with fanfare. All participants in the Kiddie Run will receive a Noblesville Mini Marathon football, a race bib number, and a medal as part of their registration.
“The Noblesville Mini Marathon is a family-friendly event that is inclusive to all ages and running backgrounds,” stated Becky Terry, BGCN Executive Director. “The goal is to get outside and see the beautiful landmarks our city has to offer while putting an emphasis on physical fitness.” Walkers are welcome to participate in all three distances, and strollers will be welcome along the 5K course.
Multiple volunteer opportunities are still available for any individual, civic group, club, etc. to get involved and support the event.
