The Noblesville freshman boys basketball team lost to Harrison 32-25 on Tuesday.
The Millers were led by Kadin Hamilton with eight points and Drew Niswonger with six points. Noblesville will host Carmel at 6 p.m. Monday.
The Noblesville West Middle School eighth-grade boys basketball team played two games this week.
On Monday, the West Millers played Hamilton Heights. The “A” team won 53-40. Almodovar scored 20 points to lead NWMS, followed by Roberts 6, Smith 6, Barnes 5, Lynas 4, Page 4, Riggs 3, Feller 3 and Tippner 2. Roberts pulled four rebounds, followed by Riggs 3, Almodovar 2, Smith 2, Lynas 2, Page 2 and Feller 1. Almodovar also made four steals.
The West Millers’ “B” team won 45-37. Hughes scored 12 points, followed by Hamman with nine points and Bohland with eight. Barrow grabbed seven rebounds, Leyda had four steals and Barrow made three blocked shots.
On Wednesday, Noblesville West played at Clay. The “A” team lost 49-34. Roberts scored 15 points, followed by Smith 9, Barnes 4, Lynas 3 and Page 1. Roberts also had six rebounds, followed by Almodovar 2, Barnes 1, Riggs 1, Smith 1, Lynas 1 and Page 1.
The West Millers’ “B” team lost 47-19. Leyda scored seven points, followed by Cash with six. Barrow had three rebounds.
The Fishers freshman boys basketball team beat Avon 48-43 in a Friday Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Orioles got off to a hot start, putting the Tigers in a 22-16 halftime deficit, their largest of the season. But Fishers came alive in the second half, putting on the pressure defensively to outscore Avon 32-21.
Zach Cox scored 24 points, going 10-of-12 from the free throw line and 7-of-10 from the field. Josh Forbes added 10 points and made eight steals.
The Tigers will play Hamilton Southeastern at 6 p.m. tonight.
