Andrew Bloch has been appointed judge of the Hamilton Circuit Court.
Last week, Bloch filed paperwork and announced his campaign for the seat in the May Republican primary election. The seat has been vacant since Judge Paul Felix was appointed to the Indiana Court of Appeals last summer.
Since 2019, Bloch has served as a senior magistrate in the Hamilton Circuit and Superior Courts. Before that, Bloch worked in private practice for 15 years, focusing on domestic relations and litigation throughout central Indiana.
Bloch received an undergraduate degree from Xavier University and a law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law. He resides in Westfield with his wife, Nicole, and their basset, Bernard.
