University scored another overwhelming win on Thursday, taking care of Scecina on the road, 75-17.
The Class 1A No. 3 Trailblazers led 24-2 after the first quarter and 51-6 at halftime. Jenna Blakley poured in six 3-pointers on her way to 19 points. Blakley had five 3s in the second quarter alone; that ties her for sixth place in the state for most 3s in one quarter, according to the Hickory Huskier Book of Indiana High School Basketball Records.
Lindsey Syrek added 18 points and had a solid all-around game with nine rebounds and eight blocked shots. Haley Tomlinson added 10 points, including two 3s.
University is 14-1 and will host Lebanon at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
