Sheridan traveled to Tri-Central for its Hoosier Heartland Conference opener on Friday, and came home with a 28-0 victory.
The Blackhawks took care of this one early, leading 14-0 just two minutes into the game. Eli Kolb and Nolan Page both scored on short runs, with Owen Bell making both extra-point kicks.
The 14-0 margin would stay in place until the fourth quarter, when Sheridan added two more touchdowns, both courtesy of Zach Bales. The first was a punch-in from the one-yard line, then Bales took the ball in from 10 yards a minute and a half later.
Bell made the extra-point kicks after those scores as well. Bell has been perfect this season, making all 11 extra point attempts.
The Blackhawks are 2-1 and return to Bud Wright Stadium next week to host old rival Clinton Central.
