Sheridan traveled to Western Boone on Tuesday and came home with a 67-56 victory.
The Blackhawks got off to a fast start, leading the Stars 21-9 after one quarter. Sheridan led 34-23 at halftime, then used a 20-point third period to lead 54-50 going into the fourth.
Four Blackhawks players reached double figures, led by Caleb Wright’s 19 points. Damon Winston scored 17 points, Trey Page made four 3-pointers on his way to 16 points and Devon Hamilton added 15 points.
Wright and Winston both collected six rebounds, with Chance Spencer pulling five. Sheridan had 19 assists on 25 made baskets, with Wright dishing out six, Winston handing out five and Spencer providing four. Wright also made four steals.
The ‘Hawks are 14-5 and hosts Edinburgh on Friday.
