Sheridan cruised to its second win of the season Saturday afternoon by beating Elwood 56-10 at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks dominated from the start, leading 25-0 after the first quarter. Sheridan’s freshmen starters led the way, with Cecilia Timme scoring nine points and Kenzie Garner adding eight points. Garner then scored another seven points in the second period, and the ‘Hawks were up 44-4 at halftime.
Garner finished the game with 19 points, while Timme totaled 17 points. Ashley Webel threw in two 3-pointers.
The Blackhawks are 2-2 for the season and play another home game Tuesday against Western Boone.
