Sheridan’s boys team rolled to a 69-36 Hoosier Heartland Conference win over Clinton Central Friday at Larry Hobbs Hall.
The Blackhawks outscored the Bulldogs in all four quarters, leading 18-11 after one period and 32-18 at halftime. Tyler Garner scored 12 points in the first half. Sheridan then cruised through the third quarter by outscoring CC 19-7, then kept things going in the fourth quarter. Caleb Wright scored seven points in the final period.
Garner scored 20 points, while Wright added 18. Trent DeCraene also reached double figures by chipping in 12 points. Garner also pulled 11 rebounds for a double-double, with Nathan Hinshaw collecting seven and Carsen Aleman getting six. Owen Bell had five steals and four assists, and Wright handed out four assists.
Sheridan is 1-1 in HHC play and 3-3 overall. The Blackhawks return to action next Friday with a home conference game against Eastern.
