Sheridan’s boys dropped a 62-49 game to Lapel Friday at Hobbs Memorial Hall.
The Bulldogs led 17-14 after the first quarter, then took control in the second period, outscoring the Blackhawks 12-4 to lead 29-18 at halftime.
Ange Gnamkey led Sheridan with 19 points, followed by Caleb Duke’s 14 points. Gnamkey also had four rebounds, with Drake Delph also grabbing four rebounds.
The ‘Hawks are 5-3 for the season and play at Tri-Central next Friday, Jan. 5 in a Hoosier Heartland Conference game.
