Bill Ressler, 82, Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at his home. He was born on December 10, 1939, to the late Floyd and Jean (Powell) Ressler in Indianapolis.
Bill drove a school bus for 43 years. He loved sports, especially fishing, hunting and NASCAR. Bill was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Cubs.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joy Ressler; sons, Jeffrey (Kelly) Ressler and Brian (Chris) Ressler; daughter, Kathy (Brian) Joyce; grandchildren, Katrina, Danielle (Carlos), Alicia, Austin, Nathan and Ashley; and his great-grandchildren, Makaylah, Jeremie and Skylar.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., with services at 2 p.m., on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Judy Dennis-Myers and John Myers will officiate. Burial will be at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield.
