Hamilton Heights picked up its second win in a row on Saturday, beating Western Boone 67-55 at the Stars’ gym.
WeBo got out to a 17-12 lead after the first quarter, but the Huskies quickly turned the tables in the second period. Heights poured in 20 points while allowing the Stars only two, and that led to a 32-19 Huskies halftime lead. Heights held that margin for the second half.
Gus Etchison scored 23 points for the Huskies, also collecting eight rebounds and dishing out four assists. Jonny Cambron added 13 points, while Issiac Hickok pulled seven rebounds.
Heights is now 10-4 for the season and go back on the road next Saturday to play an all-county game at Sheridan.
