Beverly Dawn Dodd, 84, Cicero, passed away on September 25, 2022, at her home with her family at her side. She was born August 13, 1938, in Kansas City, Mo., to Mervin and Mildred (Clingenpeel) Poole.
She attended Kansas City schools and graduated from North East High School with the Class of 1957. She soon found clerical work at TWA Airlines and later at Wheaton Van Lines.
Beverly was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Arcadia.
Leisure time would find Beverly cooking, reading mystery novels and watching old western movies. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She married William Kenneth Dodd on April 26, 1969, and they were blessed with a daughter, Kimberly Dawn (James) Macky of Noblesville, and a son, Michael Kenneth (Briana) Dodd of Indianapolis. Additional survivors include a brother, Charles Poole of Excelsior Springs, Mo., grandchildren, Logan, Samuel, Grace, Justin and Jacob Macky, and a great-grandchild, Owen Macky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Poole and Donald Poole.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at Life Church, 2200 Sheridan Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Micah Beckwith officiating. A time of visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of the services. Burial will be at a later date at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery near Arcadia.
