Betty Lee (Brattain) Carr, 92, Fishers, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 2, 2018. She was born March 30, 1925, to Bert O. Brattain and Nellie B. Brattain (Sylvester) who now reside in Heaven.
Betty attended Durbin Elementary School and graduated from Noblesville High School in 1943. Then she was employed with Guide Lamp in Anderson, assembling head lamps for Jeeps for WWII. Betty worked at L.S. Ayres and Wassons in downtown Indianapolis and later she was employed at L.S. Ayers in Glendale and Fair store in Anderson.
She attended Lincoln Bible Institute in Lincoln, Ill., where Betty met John Paul Carr and married on June 30, 1950. She was a help mate to her husband in his School Teaching and Minister Professions.
John and Betty Carr were the parents of John Mark Carr (Shawn), grandparents of three grandsons, three granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.
Betty Lee enjoyed working with children and teenagers daily along with Vacation Bible School, Church Camp and at Evangelistic meetings and seeing people accept the Lord into their lives so they too could live a “Good Life”.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
