Betty JoAnn Woods, 67, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at her home. She was born on May 29, 1951 to Ernest Sr. and Hazel (Brown) Russell in Rowena, Ky.
Betty worked at Noblesville Nursing Home as a Housekeeping and Dietary Supervisor for 21 years. She also worked at the Noblesville Walmart in the bakery for seven years. Betty loved playing bingo, reading books and spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Rickie Lee Woods, Sr. – their 50th anniversary would have been on January 4, 2019 – sons, Rickie (Jessie) Woods Jr. and Brian Woods; daughters, Carol Montgomery and Francis (Michael) Alberts; grandchildren, Stephanie Woods, Tiffany Woods, Heather Simmons, Holly Montgomery, Darran Montgomery Jr., Alicia Woods, Steven Goodman, and Jordan Goodman; step-grandchildren, Ashley Alberts and Corey Johnson; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Rickie Lee Russell, Tommy Russell and Mark Russell; sisters, Becky McFall, Kay Sells and Lisa Bradfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Russell Jr. and two grandchildren, Joshua Woods and Cody Goodman.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
