Betty Jean (Rich) Chance, 87, Westfield, passed away June 18, 2019. She was born in Crab Orchard, Ky., on April 4, 1932, daughter of Dalton and Myrtle Rich.
Jean was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She also served as past president of the Westfield Woman’s Club.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by brothers, Dalton and Billy Joe Rich.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Bob; stepchildren, Michael (Anna), Eric (Dawn) and Teresa (Randy); aunt, Bernice Owen and step-grandchildren, Celeidh, Moira, Tosha, Sean and Trystin.
Family and friends will gather at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Hope Church, 2500 E. 98th St., where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jean may be given to the family in care of Bussell Family Funerals to assist with final expenses.
