The Westfield Washington Public Library will welcome best-selling author Edward Kelsey Moore for an after-hours program at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 26.
Moore is the author of the best-selling novels The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat and The Supremes Sing the Happy Heartache Blues. He is an Indianapolis native who now makes his home in Chicago, and in addition to his award-winning writing, he also maintains a career as a professional cellist.
His essays and short fiction have been commissioned by Minnesota Public Radio and have appeared in the New York Times, as well as in many literary magazines. His books have been critically acclaimed and are celebrated for their humor, poignancy, quirky characters and magical literary qualities.
Moore’s books will be available at the library for purchase from Turn the Page Books, and he will be available for book signings.
Doors will open for this adult event at 6:30 p.m., with the author’s presentation beginning at 7 p.m. Wine and cheese will be served. This is not a program for children.
The library is able to host this event thanks to a grant from Indiana Humanities, and this program is part of the Novel Conversations Speakers Program.
