Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre announces local auditions for remainder of 2025 Season

Casting roles in “Waitress,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Tootsie” & more

Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre announces upcoming adult auditions for productions in the remainder of its 2025 Season. These are for ages 19 and older, and includes both Equity and non-Equity performers.

This audition will seek to fill roles in Waitress, Heartbreak Hotel, Tootsie, A Beef & Boards Christmas, and A Christmas Carol.

Auditions are by appointment only. They will take place Monday, Feb. 17 (Equity Principal Auditions) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with dance callbacks from 6 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, Feb. 18 (Equity Chorus Call), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with dance callbacks at 2 p.m. Those with an audition appointment should report to the lobby of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, 9301 Michigan Road, Indianapolis, to sign in.

The theatre is seeking actors who are racially, ethnically, and physically diverse, including all gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities. To secure an audition or for more information, visit BeefandBoards.com.

• Waitress performances are from July 17 through Aug. 31, 2025. Rehearsals begin July 3, 2025.
• Heartbreak Hotel is on stage Sept. 4 through Oct. 12, 2025. Rehearsals start Aug. 21, 2025.
• Tootsie runs from Oct. 16 through Nov. 23, 2025. Rehearsals begin Oct. 2, 2025.
• A Beef & Boards Christmas performances take place from Nov. 28 through Dec. 31, 2025. Rehearsals begin Nov. 13, 2025.
• A Christmas Carol takes place from Dec. 5 to 22, 2025, with rehearsals starting on Nov. 28, 2025.

Those auditioning should prepare two contrasting vocal selections – one up tempo and one ballad – and music in the correct key. A one-minute monologue may be requested. Auditioners should also bring an updated picture and resume, as well as dance clothes and their entire vocal book for a potential dance callback at 6 p.m.
