The Hamilton Southeastern baseball team scored early, then often, and that led to a 10-0, five-inning Hoosier Crossroads Conference win Thursday at Zionsville.

The Royals quickly got one run in the first inning. Ty Bradle drew a walk, then was sent home by Griffen Haas’ right field double.

Southeastern then picked up the pace, with four runs in the second inning and five runs in the third. Kam Seitz and Bradle both had RBI hits in the second inning, and Cole Earlewine led off the third inning with a home run. Maddux Bach and Haas both hit RBI singles in the third as well.

Haas and Seitz both finished the game with two hits, while Bach, Earlewine, Chugga Rosario and Seitz all scored two runs. Bradle and Harrison Dilts each got one run, with Dilts getting one base hit.

Rosario pitched all five innings, striking out eight against two hits and no walks.

The victory keeps the Royals unbeaten in the conference at 3-0. Southeastern is 6-4 overall and hosts Zionsville tonight at Ken Seitz field to finish the series.
