The Fishers baseball team cruised past New Castle 12-2 in a Friday six-inning home game.
The Tigers led 4-0 after three innings. The Trojans scored a run in the top of the fourth, but Fishers put up six runs in the bottom of the inning, then finished the game with two runs in the sixth.
Deagan Repp was 3-for-3 at the plate, scoring two runs. Huston Dunn counted two doubles in his 3-for-4 night, scoring three runs. Zander Carnahan had two hits, including an RBI triple in the first inning. He finished with three RBI and two runs scored.
Luke Cherry and Jase Ruggles both were 2-for-3, including a double, with Cherry scoring two runs. Collin Hebert had two RBI. Reid Garber got the pitching win.
The Tigers are 18-4 and play Monday at Yorktown.

Guerin Catholic lost a high-scoring game to Bishop Dwenger 15-12 Friday in the Golden Eagles’ first game at the Catholic Classic at Lafayette Central Catholic.
Playing as the visiting game, Guerin Catholic scored three runs in the first inning. Ian Taylor got the first run on an error, Ben Canada scored on Carson Kail’s RBI fielder’s choice and Karson Smith got home on Finn Holden’s sacrifice bunt.
The Knights put up six runs in the bottom of the first, but GC answered that with two runs in the top of the second. Taylor led off with a triple, then got home on Smith’s double. Smith later scored when Kail cracked a center field double.
Dwenger scored two runs in the bottom of the second to lead 8-5. The Golden Eagles came back to lead 9-8 in the top of the third: Canada singled in Luke Gremelspacher and Brody Cain, Taylor got home on a wild pitch to tie the contest, then Grant Beard hit a sacrifice fly to send home Canada and put Guerin Catholic in front.
The Golden Eagles added two runs in the fourth inning. Jackson Baker singled in Holden, then Gremelspacher got home on a wild pitch. Guerin Catholic led 11-8, but the Knights scored four in the bottom of the fourth to lead 12-11.
Dwenger added three runs in the sixth inning. Guerin Catholic scored a run in the seventh when Daulton Phillips batted in Kail, but a pop out finished the game.
Taylor finished with two triples, while Gremelspacher counted a double among his two hits. Kail and Baker both had two hits.
The Golden Eagles are 9-8 and play two more games at the Catholic Classic today, taking on South Bend St. Joseph at 1:30 p.m. and the host LCC Knights at 6:30 p.m.

Hamilton Heights dropped a 6-2 game Friday at Shelbyville.
The Huskies scored the game’s first run in the top of the first inning. Nick Hulen got home after Dillon Pitts hit a sacrifice fly. The Golden Bears scored twice in the bottom of the first, then went on to lead 4-1 after four innings.
Heights scored its second run in the fifth inning; Owen Hughes got home on Cohen Boyd’s RBI groundout. Josh Newton, P.J. Wright, Hughes and Chase Hall each had one hit.
Pitts pitched three innings, with four strikeouts.
The Huskies are 6-12 and play this morning at Hamilton Southeastern.

Westfield fell to Zionsville 11-3 in a Friday home Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
Both teams began their scoring with two runs in the second inning. Aiden Grabowski smacked a two-RBI triple for the Shamrocks, bringing in Ian Wilson and Nick Fero.
The Eagles took over in the fourth inning, putting up seven runs. Westfield scored one run in the bottom of the fourth; Fero got home on Jake Russell’s RBI fielder’s choice.
Fero and Grabowski both had two hits, while Drew Law hit a double. James Kovacs threw four strikeouts in 2.2 innings of relief.
The ‘Rocks are 4-6 in conference play and 12-8 overall. Westfield’s next game is Monday when it hosts Greenwood Christian Academy.
