Baseball regional sites announced

Hamilton County’s three regional-qualifying baseball teams found out where they will play on Wednesday.

All three teams will compete in their respective IHSAA regional games on Saturday. The first to play is University, which travels to Mitchell High School to take on Greencastle in a Class 2A game at 11 a.m.

Westfield travels north to Lafayette’s Loeb Stadium to play Harrison in a Class 4A contest. First pitch for that game is 3 p.m.

Guerin Catholic, fresh off winning its first-ever sectional title, heads to Jasper’s Ruxer Field to play Cathedral in a Class 3A game. That regional also starts at 3 p.m.
