Baseball: Millers sail past Northwestern

The Noblesville baseball team sailed past Northwestern 14-0 in a five-inning away game on Saturday.
The Millers ran away with the game in the fourth inning by scoring 10 runs, including an inside-the-park home run by Dean White. Kolbi Kazmierski and White each had three hits and scored three runs, with White also batting in three runs. White and Drew Niswonger both hit a triple.
Blake Widget pitched all five innings for the win.
Noblesville is 12-14 and hosts Zionsville on Wednesday.

Sheridan split a pair of games on Saturday.
In their first game, the Blackhawks lost to Eastern 19-0 in five innings. Sheridan was held to two hits, a double by Silas DeVaney and a single for Cameron Hovey.
The ‘Hawks won their second game, 20-3 in three innings over Tri-Central. Sheridan scored 11 runs in the first inning, with Cole Bales going 4-for-4 at the plate. DeVaney had three hits. Hovey, Cole Bales and Zach Bales all drove in three runs, while Hovey, Cole Bales and Collin McNair each scored three runs.
Cole Bales threw six strikeouts.
The Blackhawks are 9-14 and host Rossville on Tuesday.

University dropped a 10-0, five-inning game to Andrean Saturday at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette.
The 59ers held the Class 2A No. 5 Trailblazers to two hits, one each from Matt Moore and Seth Hogg.
