Barbara Jean Hamblin, 79, Noblesville, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at her home. She was born on October 20, 1940 to Orville and Helen (Nagle) Case in Zionsville.
Barb was a seamstress for over 30 years and loved to sew. She enjoyed camping and tending to her flower garden. Most of all, Barb loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandsons.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years in May, Howard Hamblin; sons, Douglas Dean (Barbara Jane) Hamblin and Daniel Lee (Christine) Hamblin; sister, Betty Miller; brother, John Orville Case; granddaughters, Heather Ann (Jeffrey) Pierce and Haley Marie Hamblin; and great-grandsons, Matthew Carter and Mason Charles.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sister, Anna May Opperman.
Private graveside services will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
The Hamblin family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes with Barb’s care.
