Westfield completed Hoosier Crossroads Conference play Friday with a 53-37 win at Franklin Central.
The Class 4A No. 3 Shamrocks led 15-9 after the first quarter and 26-13 at halftime. Seven different Westfield players scored in the first half, led by Durante Morton’s six points. The ‘Rocks further extended their lead in the third quarter, going up 43-24. Jalen Malone stepped up in the second half with seven points.
Morton and Malone both scored 10 points in total, with Drew Haffner adding nine and Will Harvey scoring eight.
Westfield finished HCC play with a 4-3 record, tying for third in the conference. The Shamrocks are 17-3 overall and complete the regular season Tuesday at Mount Vernon.
