Noblesville fell to Avon Saturday afternoon in an away Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Millers played a strong first half, leading 12-10 after the first quarter and 26-17 at halftime. But the Orioles cut that lead to 32-27 after three periods, then poured in 23 points in the fourth quarter to come back and get the win.
Ashlynn Shade scored 19 points for Noblesville, and also had eight rebounds and six assists. Brooklyn Ely added nine points, including three 3-pointers.
The Millers are 0-2 in the conference and 3-5 overall. They continue HCC play on Wednesday at Hamilton Southeastern.
