On Feb. 15, Indiana ACT for Families joined Indiana Providers of Effective Autism Treatment (InPEAT) for an Advocacy Day at the Statehouse. The organizations banded together with ABA providers, therapists, Hoosier families and other autism advocacy groups to emphasize the impact that a Medicaid reimbursement rate cut would have on the access and quality of autism care in the state. Members spoke with Representatives and Senators from across the state to tell their stories and advocate for their support on the issue.

(Above) Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch took the time to meet with various members of the coalition to discuss the actions that need to be taken to protect access and quality of autism therapy services. The Lieutenant Governor thanked the coalition for the work they are doing for Hoosier families and children with autism.
