Aspire receives $1.5M in federal COVID rescue plan funding

Aspire Indiana Health has received a $1.5 million grant to expand and improve healthcare services under the American Rescue Plan Act passed earlier this year in response to the COVID pandemic.

Aspire is eligible as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike that accepts Medicare and Medicaid. The grant, which is for a period of two years, is distributed through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) as part of expansion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) included in the rescue plan.

Aspire operates FQHC clinics in Boone, Hamilton, Madison and Marion counties that offer a full range of family medicine services, with a particular focus on serving the underserved and at-risk.
