Bales
On Friday, detectives and deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Clinton County Regional SWAT Team made an arrest in the Wednesday bank robbery investigation that occurred at First Farmer’s Bank and Trust in Sheridan.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, investigative tips and measures led to the identification of a suspect in this case. Subsequently, Nicholas T. Bales, 35, was arrested in Frankfort. Evidence was recovered linking Bales to the crime.
Bales is currently incarcerated at the Hamilton County Jail and has been charged with robbery (Level 5 felony).
