A Kentucky man was arrested over the weekend after being pulled over in Fishers by an Indiana State Trooper for speeding.

Trooper Eric Patterson was patrolling Interstate 69 in Hamilton County near 96th Street when he noticed a vehicle traveling 86 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone. Patterson pulled the vehicle over and subsequently discovered the driver, Corvonte Lynum, 25, Louisville, Ky., had an active arrest warrant for attempted murder, along with other open warrants out of Kentucky.
A search of the vehicle revealed two loaded handguns leading to preliminary charges in Hamilton County of possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. Lynum was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where he will await extradition to Kentucky.
