As the Carmel Symphony Orchestra has returned to in-person performances with outdoor restaurant concerts, Anthony’s Chophouse in Carmel is a popular place to see CSO musicians. CSO’s program, Symphony On the Go, is so popular at the restaurant that owner Tony Lazzara has decided to become a sponsor.
Symphony on the Go is the CSO’s new initiative to bring the city live music. Janna Hymes, CSO Artistic Director, says she is glad to see the musicians back out and playing. She recognizes how much it means to them to create and share their music. And she says she’s grateful to Lazzara for allowing this to continue through his generosity.
Anthony’s Chophouse strives to offer the unique to its customers and to provide them with a “something extra” experience. Enjoying the musicians from the Carmel Symphony Orchestra adds to that experience.
“Having live music not only brings joy to our customers, but also allows the Carmel Symphony performers to showcase their talents at a time when music could be forgotten,” said Lazzara. “Join us every Friday on the patio for cocktails, music and more.”
The Carmel Symphony Orchestra has had the opportunity to play several locations over the summer, including Juniper on Main in Carmel and the SoHo Café & Gallery. Coming up, the CSO will perform each Friday through Oct. 1 at Anthony’s Chophouse, 201 W. Main St., with a Saturday performance at Urban Vines Winery in Westfield.
Videos of the performances outside of Anthony’s Chophouse can be found on the CSO Facebook page.
