Anthony Frederick “Tony” Gibbs

May 31, 1952 – October 24, 2021

Anthony Frederick “Tony” Gibbs, 69, Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Majestic Care of Sheridan. He was born on May 31, 1952 to the late Kenneth A. “Bud” and Rosebelle “Rosy” (Blackman) Gibbs in Scott City, Kan.

Tony proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T from 1975 to 1987 and then worked at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline and retired as a Telecommunication Supervisor after 31 years. He was an Eagle Scout and spent many years as a scout camp leader and parent troop leader. Tony loved classic 60s muscle cars, and enjoyed taking his car to the Noblesville Square on Saturday evenings. Most of all, he loved his family and grandchildren and was always very dedicated as a Dad and Papa.

Tony is survived by his wife of 46 years, Theresa Gibbs; brother, Gary Gibbs; son, Eric (Heather) Gibbs; daughter, Haley (Joshua) Deenik; and six grandchildren, Connor, Mason, Adalyn, Elsie, Miles and Josie.

A private burial will be held at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
