Another 4-H Fair well done

Another Hamilton County 4-H Fair is coming to a close … but if you’re reading this on Monday, July 24, you still have time to grab that funnel cake you’ve been thinking about, say hello to a farm animal, play fair games, and check out the Youth Talent Show starting at 2 p.m.

There’s also a horse versatility show, llama judging, a tractor pull, the Color Me Green Fun run, and the rocket launch! In addition, awards for Royal Showmanship will begin at 3 p.m., and awards for the Supreme Showmanship will begin at 7 p.m. Both will take place in the Show Arena.

Finally, the livestock auction will take place on Tuesday evening. You can find a full schedule of events at tinyurl.com/HamCo4Hfair2023.

Keep reading the Reporter this week for more photos from the fair.

The Reporter could fill pages and pages with all the great photos from this year’s 4-H Fair . . . and that’s just what we intend to do! You may remember when we brought back printed 4-H results and full-color photos following the 2022 fair. That special publication was a great success thanks to dozens of local businesses and supporters, so we’re doing it again this year. If you’re not currently subscribed to the print edition of The Reporter, go to ReadTheReporter.com/subscribe by Friday, Aug. 4 to get your copy. Let’s show these 4-H kids we care, Hamilton County!
